Wei FAN

Welcome! I’m a third year Ph.D. student supervised by Prof.Yangqiu Song in Computer Science and Engineering at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). I will soon join the Tongyi Qwen at Alibaba Group as a research intern, where I will focus on agents and reinforcement learning. Previously, I was an applied scientist intern at Amazon Stores Foundational AI, where I worked with Dr. Wenlin Yao and Dr. Zheng Li on deep research agents. I received the EMNLP 2024 outstanding paper award.

• Jul 2025: I am serving as an Area Chair for the ACL Rolling Review (July 2025).
